"Life will never again be as it was yesterday...
nor will tomorrow be as it is today
"

Who is that little girl-
Why is she watching me?
Where did I first notice her-
And when did she come to be?

She looks so darn familiar
And her eyes show such scrutiny.
Lately I see her everywhere I go,
I think she's stalking me.

She's not only in my dreams
But I find her watching when I wake.
She never speaks to me at all
But her image I can't shake.

I think she’s reminding me,
I left her in the past....and
When my time on earth is done,
We’ll be one again at last.

Someday I'll wake up where the clouds are far behind me,
Joined by family and friends waiting at the end of the rainbow.
I wonder who they'll see.... Me
Or the spirit of me... at the age they used to know?

Somewhere over the rainbow, Way up high
There's a land that I heard of Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow, Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me,
Where troubles melt like lemon drops,
Away above the chimney tops.
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow Bluebirds fly,
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow...
Why oh why can't I?
