When it's dark inside my room

And there isn't any light.

I just say a prayer

And in comes the moonlight.


When I feel all alone

Beneath the stars at night

I just say a prayer

And I know everything will be alright.


When the sun rises in the sky

And another day begins

I just say a prayer

And I'm filled with peace within.


If the world gets me down

And I feel I'm going no where

I just hold my head up high

And say my little prayer.


What a friend I have in Jesus

His Angels are watching over me.

He gives me strength for the day

Comfort for the night...

And His light to find my way.
