In the early morning dawn
You can see him sitting there.
Sitting with his fishing rod
Like he didn't have a care.

He loves to be alone
As he drifts along and waits
For all the hungry fish
To come and get the bait.

He spends this time
To search his soul
And figure out
His future goal.

He thinks about a lady
And when they met on line.
He's loved her for so many years
And will until the end of time.

They talk of some day and one day
But when? They have no clue.
So he gets away to catch some fish
And do some dreaming too.

Far away a lady also dreams
About a man that no-one knows,
And the time that she will meet him
Where the river flows.
