We have so many memories
Of all the days gone by.
The children raised and gone
Once more it's time for you and I.
There have been a few times
Both of us got lost along the way
But true love persevered
And our love is here to stay.
It doesn't seem that long ago
That we said the words "I Do"
Yet... it's been a lifetime
Since we first said "I Love You."
Like most couples starting out
We saw good days and also bad.
But we've weathered all the storms
Through these many years we've had.
We had such fun within these years
Just being Dad and Mother
Now in the Autumn of our life
We've once more found each other.
