Thoughts Of Summer As the leaves fall My thoughts are still With the summer and you. I love you so... I always will. Like the seasons of our life Love sometimes leaves too soon And all that we have left Are the stars and midnight moon. I like to sit and watch The autumns falling leaves But when I close my eyes I still feel the summer breeze. There's a crispness in the air I smell the scent of your cologne Soft and sweet and fresh As if it were my own. I've been in and out Of your life so much That I can feel your body Without a single touch As I sit upon the grass I still feel the summer sand I can see you there before me Reaching out your hand. Though seasons come and go My thoughts of summer lingers on Darling... my love for you will last Until eternity and beyond.
