Winter's not quite here

Fall's just about gone

It's almost the end of another year.



A time of reflection.

Give thanks for all that went right

Let go of all that went wrong.

Cuddle up on long cold nights.



Another season giving birth

I love the chill in the air

The frost in the morning

The smell of burning wood

From fireplaces everywhere.



People decorating their homes.

Families gathering on Thanksgiving day.

Thanking God for all our blessings

For those now gone... remember to pray.



Almost winter

Children waiting for it to snow.

Pumpkin pies and cookies baking

Candles in the windows glow.



Anticipating

The coming holidays.
