I'm not.... Looking forward to Halloween this year And all that candy too. Every year I buy Candy by the ton, And every year... at my door I get absolutely no-one. Where are all the little princesses, Pirates, Witches, Monsters and All the Cowboys and Indians too? They made me laugh so hard With their funny costumes, And saying "trick or treat" and "Boo". I miss those scary creatures- The kids are now all grown. They've moved away somewhere And left me all alone. When children filled our neighborhood Halloween was always neat. But now the street stands empty And all the candy....I have to eat!
