Jo's Carousel Of Dreams

Come away with me
On my merry-go-round.
I know of a place
Where dreams can be found.

We'll drift thru some fantasies
Where no-one will find us.
We can dance 'neath the moonbeams
Or upon a cloud filled with stardust.

We'll soar with the angels
And share lot's of laughter
But nothing is permanent here -
There's no end - no happily ever after.

It's only a dream floating 'round in my mind
But maybe you'll find a good feeling
That touches you deep within
And sets your senses reeling.

We can ride on a rainbow
Or catch a star in the sky.
If we run into a storm or two
We can just sit awhile and have a good cry.

As the melody plays our favorite songs
The carousel takes us thru dreamland.
I'll open my heart and let you see in.
Come away with me - Hold onto my hand.

In Dreamland you'll find sunsets and stars
And the midnightmoon - such a beautiful sight.
There's family and friends and old loves too
And it's quite possible we'll meet a sweet lady
And catch a glimpse of a wolf in the night.

There are old dreams and new dreams
And a few lost dreams too
But there's nothing in here to grieve.
My dreamland is filled with nothing but love.
And a fantasy or two that's only make believe.
