Hobbies...
I remember I had them
Sometime way back when.
Long ago when I had a lot of time-
Before I ever got on line.
Hobbies.... yes, I've had quite a few
Making crafts and crocheting too.
Working with wood, flowers and glue
Or making afghans for people I knew.
Now a home computer is my game
And my life is not the same.
Hobbies now are such a bore
Surfing is what i love more.
Meeting people from all over,
Traveling the net like an Irish rover.
Feeling like a gypsy running free
And no one knowing the real me.
Nothing quite compares to my pc
I can go anywhere or be anything I wanna be.
Some days a kid, some days old and lazy
Some days I'm quiet and some days just crazy.
Making web pages is my hobby now;
It's very therapeutic somehow-
Writing about things I like to do,
My family and friends and a dream or two.
